By Placing an order you agree to our terms and conditions; they are pretty standard but if you do not agree with our terms and conditions, you should not use or access the website.  

Our terms and conditions may change and it is up to you to check the current terms and conditions before placing an order.

 

General Terms and conditions

Your contract for purchases is made with Merino Monsters Limited, 9 Laurel Grove, Chelmsford, CM2 9BL.  The terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Your contract for purchases made through merinomonsters.co.uk is with Merino Monsters Limited and you undertake that purchases are for your own personal use and not for resale.

You must be 18 years or over to use this site.  If you are under 18 years of age you may use this site only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian.

You warrant that all the details you provide for the purpose of purchasing goods are accurate and current and that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and there are sufficient funds to cover payment of the product ordered.

You agree that email can be used as a means for communication

During the registration process you will be asked to provide a USER NAME

Merino Monsters Limited reserve the right to end our agreement with you and suspend or terminate access to our site if:

• You fail to make payment to us

• You breach any of our terms and conditions

• When requested by us to do so, you fail to provide enough information to enable us to check the accuracy and validity of the information you have supplied.

• We suspect you have engaged or are attempting to engage in fraudulent or illegal activity.


Damage to your computer

It is in our interest to ensure our website is free of viruses and defects, however it is not possible to guarantee that use of our website will not cause damage to your computer.  Please ensure your computer is suitable for using the internet.  Unless we are proved negligent we will not be liable for any loss of damage to computer equipment which may arise from using our website.


Ordering

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability of the products.  

If the product you would like is not in stock it will show ‘not in stock’ at the checkout.  If you would like to know when a product will be in stock please email us.

All prices are correct at the time of entering information and include relevant sales tax for the UK.

No contract for the sale of any product will exist between you and Merino Monsters until we accept the order and the product is dispatched.  When this happens we will email you  confirmation.

The confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provide and will include details of the products ordered, price including postage and packing and VAT and the delivery times.

Please check the details on the order confirmation and contact us as soon as possible if anything is incorrect.

The delivery time is approximate.  Goods will be sent to the address you provide.

If the order can not be complete because of incorrect payment details or it is not possible to receive payment in full from your account we will cancel the order.

If you are ordering from outside the UK, your order may be subject to customs duties and taxes.  You must meet any additional charges and we recommend you confirm charges with your customs authority.

Standard post takes 2-5 working daysWe offer FREE standard postage to the UK for orders over £50

Orders under £50 have the following postage charges £3 for standard delivery in the UK.

We use Royal Mail for delivery.  If you are not in at the time of delivery your parcel may be left with a neighbour or alternatively Royal Mail may leave a card advising you where you can collect your parcel from.  If you know you are unlikely to be in when your parcel arrives we suggest you arrange for your parcel to be delivered to a more convenient delivery address, for example your place of work or a friend you know will be home. 

If  you would like you can order express delivery for the next day providing we have your order by noon Monday to Friday.  If we receive your order for express delivery during the weekend your order will arrive on Tuesday.  The charge for express delivery is £6. This method of delivery does require a signature.

We try to meet our deliver times as best we can, occasionally a parcel can be late due to circumstance beyond our control - such as weather.  When we are aware of a delay we will inform you by email.

Europe 

We can arrange for delivery to Europe and the expected delivery time is 3-5 days.  However the delivery time can not be guaranteed and is dependent on the delivery address. All local taxes which may apply are at the buyers expense and should be arranged by the buyer.

Worldwide

We can arrange for delivery worldwide and the expected delivery time is 5-7 days.  However the delivery time can not be guaranteed and is dependent on the delivery address. All local taxes which may apply are at the buyers expense and should be arranged by the buyer.  

The charge for delivery is £10

If your order is not delivered within the expected time frame please email us as soon as possible.  If an order is not delivered you should notify us in writing within 30 days of placing your order.  After 30 days we will not be responsible for the goods.

 

Canceling an Order

If you have not confirmed your order at the checkout you may clear any items from your shopping trolley by pressing delete beside the item, this will clear it from your order.

Once you have placed an order under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order without reason until seven days after the order was made.  To cancel your order please contact us in writing by email.  If this is not possible please contact us by telephone.

If you have confirmed an order but wish to cancel or change it please contact us as soon as possible so we can make any changes before dispatching the order.    If  the order has been despatch you will have to wait until you receive the goods and then arrange for the goods to be returned to us.

Once you have notified us you wish to cancel an order any sum paid to us will be re-credited to the debit or credit card from which the payment was made within 30 days, provided the good are returned to us in the same condition that they were delivered.  

If you cancel an order before it has been delivered but after it has been despatched the package must be returned unopened and we will refund the cost you incur to post the goods back.

If you cancel an order after the goods have been delivered you should return the goods in perfect condition, in this instance you will incur the cost of returning the goods.

You will be liable for any damage incurred when returning the goods, unless the return is a result of our error.

We will provide a full refund for the goods and any standard postage costs paid to deliver the goods to you but we will not refund the cost of returning the goods to us unless you cancel the order before the goods are delivered. 

If you cancel your order but do not return the goods delivered to you or you do not pay the delivery cost we will deduct the cost of recovering the goods from the amount re credited to you.

 

Cancellation by Merino Monsters

We reserve the right cancel an order if 

  • We have insufficient stock.
  • We believe you are purchasing goods for resale.
  • You have provided incorrect or insufficient delivery information.

If we cancel an order we will notify you in writing by email.

 

Returning Items/Exchange

If you are not happy with your merino, or if you would like to exchange your item we have made it as simple as possible.  

Keep the items in perfect condition, keep labels attached and do not wear or wash. Complete the return/exchange form on the back of the invoice sent with your product and post it back within 45 days.  Please ask for a record of postage incase the package gets lost on the way to us.  The address to send it to is;

Once we receive the items we will process the return/exchange.  Returns will be refunded into your account within 30 days of receiving the items.  Exchanges will be despatched within 3 working days if items are in stock, if the item is not in stock we will contact you within 3 working days by email.

We do not refund the cost of return postage  unless the item is faulty or we have send you the wrong item.

If you would like an exchange and you are in the UK we will post the exchange item to you for free.
